Mr. Lutsey’s background is in finance, sales, relationship management and organic farming.  He is a third generation food-industry veteran; his father and grandfather built Gold Bond Ice Cream from the ground up into a company that was eventually sold to Unilever. His experience includes the start-up and operations of Waseda Farms, a 600-acre organic cattle, hog and poultry farm in Door County, WI, where he established a solid reputation and network with Chicago’s restaurateurs and retailers.  Mr. Lutsey sets the strategy and vision of the company, manages financial projections, makes capital allocation decisions, develops the company culture and is tasked with driving the organization forward.
