About

As the head of the Industry of Consortium for Advanced Technical Training (ICATT), Mario is responsible for directing the ICATT Apprenticeship Program, and making it accessible to high-tech manufacturers and companies with complex automations or logistics throughout the Midwest. In addition, he is responsible for the certification of training programs per the German Dual Education System standards, the certification of training qualifications as well as a large number of consulting services for companies wishing to introduce vocational training with German standards in the USA. Mario also serves as the Vice President of the German American Chamber of Commerce of Midwest, Inc. He joined GACC Midwest in October 2014 to build and lead the Skills Initiative, an effort promoting dual apprenticeship training in the USA. Prior to joining the ICATT Apprenticeship Program team, Mario worked at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry East Thuringia as a training consultant and technical professions, and later as the Director of the International Division where he was responsible for international projects on Know-How Transfer in the Balkans as well as Central Asia.
