I have over 20 years of experience in the life sciences field focused on entrepreneurial finance and operations. I have co-founded and built several companies and raised over $220 million in private and public capital, led 2 successful NASDAQ IPOs and have served as a board member and President/COO/CFO in a public company setting over many years.
In addition to my fundraising success and interface with Wall Street analysts and investors, I have completed several important strategic and business development transactions involving pharmaceutical product licensing, regulatory and M&A transactions.
Most recently, I have been focused on building the innovation ecosystem in Chicago. I have built Chicago Innovation Mentors, led the early launch of MATTER a healthcare focused innovation center, as well as the new Chicago Innovation Exchange from concept to reality.
