Selfhelp’s mission began in 1938 with a group of European Jewish immigrants who had a strong desire to help others like themselves become settled and rebuild their lives in Chicago. This thriving not-forprofit community continues to grow, and today provides a full continuum of health care services in a supportive and lively environment to seniors from throughout the greater Chicago Jewish community. From retirement apartments to quality skilled nursing care, the compassionate staff at Selfhelp will meet your individual needs, often providing care and services in your own apartment.
