About
Tom is Tuthill Corporation’s Chief Executive Officer. His role, simply stated, is to bring to life the COMPASS of the Corporation. The COMPASS is Tuthill’s version of a Vision & Mission statement however it is radically different from the norm. Our version is all about ALIVENESS with a Purpose to Wake the World (7.7 billion noses). This HUGE undertaking takes a culture where folks want to live into their full potential not only for the company, but for their families, their community, and the world!
The journey outlined in the COMPASS began in 2006, when Tom and Jay Tuthill (the Owner of Tuthill Corporation) in concert with Therese Kienast (certified coach) developed an environment at Tuthill called the “Conscious Company”. Since 2006, several traditional business initiatives from layoffs to divestitures have been conducted to help strengthen the company during turbulent times.
However, the most impactful initiative was the continued and unwavering commitment to an environment that invites folks to be ALIVE. In that context the COMPASS was further enhancement in August of 2016. As a result of these efforts Tuthill has become debt free during a challenging global economy and is well on the journey to being a Top 1% company financially!
