Michael is a leading multi-channel marketer with over 22 years experience in sales and marketing management positions, Michael has worked for leading direct marketing companies, such as Metromail, Experian, Trans Union, Staples, ConsumerBase, and Vayan Marketing Group. His grasp of the direct marketing industry with both traditional offline and interactive marketing is a key strength to Five Data’s overall business. The direct marketing industry is currently experiencing major changes and Michael completely understands how to help both offline and online companies adapt their businesses for the next phase of direct marketing.

Michael has extensive experience building start-up businesses. At Trans Union and Staples, Michael started and launched several new business lines generating over $15 million in new business. He was a member of Trans Union’s merger and acquisitions team, while evaluating new business opportunities. Michael started the data business line at ConsumerBase, which today continues to excel. At Vayan, Michael was instrumental in building the company from a start-up in 2003 to $20mm+ in revenues in 2008. In 2007, Michael was instrumental in selling Vayan to Triton Pacific Capital.

Michael is married with three busy children (ages 15, 12, and 10). He spends his free time with his wife Gena attending and coaching his children’s sports and activities, playing adult hockey and attending Chicago Cub and Blackhawk games. Michael is also a barefoot water-skier and spends many weekends at his family lake home in SW Michigan.
