Elliot Richardson, a small business owner, became frustrated with the uphill battle facing many entrepreneurs in Illinois and that while many politicians pay lip-service to small businesses, too often they do not act in their best interest. Richardson took action to be part of the solution. He launched The Small Business Advocacy Council to provide small businesses every opportunity to succeed. The SBAC is a non-partisan organization laser-focused on empowering small businesses, providing them a level playing field and harnessing the power of critical mass to provide the small business community the opportunity to have a real impact on the policies impacting the Illinois economy.
