About

Jon Morris is the founder and CEO of Rise Interactive. Morris started Rise as a self-funded company with $10,000, transforming the agency into a multi-million dollar digital marketing agency. Under Morris’ leadership, Rise has received recognition for excellence in client service, tremendous growth, and commitment to culture, including acknowledgement from Inc. 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies (six-time winner), Deloitte Technology Fast 500 (three-time winner), Built in Chicago (three-time Digital Agency of the Year winner), Ad Age (Best Places to Work in Advertising), Fortune Magazine, and more. Morris has been personally recognized as a leader in technology and innovation on the Techweek100 list, as a leader dedicated to growth and innovation on Axial’s Growth 100 list, and as one of the Online Marketing Institute’s Top 40 Digital Strategists in Marketing. As a leader in the digital marketing community, Morris has mentored several entrepreneurs, with a significant focus on the University of Chicago’s New Venture Challenge, a renowned business plan competition where Rise itself got its start. Morris earned an MBA with high honors, graduating first in his class from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and received a bachelor's degree from Kenyon College.
