Vivacelle Bio, Inc. (VBI) is a pre-clinical stage life science company focused on bringing to market a new paradigm in resuscitation fluids that utilizes nano-micelle technology. The Company’s first product, Vivacelle, is a soybean oil based colloid volume expander that has been shown to be safer and materially more effective than the recommended treatment for hypovolemia in animal studies as published in the scientific journal Perfusion in December 2012. Currently, there is no adequately safe and effective resuscitation fluid for the treatment of hypovolemia. In fact, over a million people die each year globally from hypovolemia.
