As the Founder and President & CEO of Fusion92—a position he has held since launching the company in 1999—Matt serves as the resident visionary, primary strategist and principal force behind the agency's corporate development. Under Matt's leadership, Fusion92 has expanded from its roots in interactive production to become a full-service digital marketing agency. In the past three years alone, the company has increased employee headcount by 300%, and the agency's extensive operations are housed in a 12,000 square foot facility in Arlington Heights, Illinois as well as a newly opened satellite office in the heart of Chicago's West Loop.
As a testament to his entrepreneurial drive, Matt remains dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation at Fusion92 that stresses an uncompromising commitment to client service. In addition to spearheading business development efforts and managing all of the company financials, Matt is also responsible for client strategy development and program execution. His practical grasp of the creative process, coupled with his ability to understand and effectively communicate in both a technology and a business environment, helps him to conceptualize truly customized digital campaigns. Matt's unique skill set remains a key industry differentiator that is leveraged throughout all client relationships.
Since Fusion92's inception, Matt and his team have successfully developed interactive marketing campaigns for influential brands such as Sprite, U.S. Cellular, ACCO, Sears and Intuit. The agency has been recognized by The Webby Awards, JD Power & Associates and other organizations for their creative excellence. In addition, Matt oversees Fusion92's participation in several professional organizations, including the Chicago Direct Marketers Association and the Chicago chapter of the Direct Marketing Association. The agency also serves on the Founding and Steering committees of the DiscMail Direct Coalition.
Before founding Fusion92, Matt graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While at Ferris State, Matt played offensive guard for the Bulldog's football program while studying both computer science and finance. This unique blend of experiences afforded Matt the opportunity to pursue a number of different business and technical-focused career experiences in the real estate and fitness industries. He continues to rely on this knowledge-base when communicating with his employees across all of the agency's different disciplines and capabilities.
