About

Justin Rosenberg founded honeygrow in 2012 with a mission to create an honest-minded and wholesome fast-casual restaurant in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA and beyond. Prior to launching honeygrow, Rosenberg worked as a Manager of Energy Services and Asset Management for PREIT in Philadelphia, where he was responsible for purchasing and hedging strategies, energy costing, solar power development, capital budgeting, retail re-merchandising strategies and forecasting for a portfolio of over 35 national shopping centers and malls. After seven years in the finance and real estate industry, Rosenberg decided he needed a change. The food-obsessed businessman was tired of the mediocrity found in the emerging fast- causal restaurant scene and decided to take a leap of faith and create his own concept. Rosenberg turned to his passion for design and music, having been an aspiring musician early in life, to draw inspiration for a concept that would set itself apart from the rest. To prepare himself for this new venture, he took it upon himself to stage at various restaurants from Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. before finally opening his first honeygrow location. In 2012, the first honeygrow location opened in the Rittenhouse neighborhood of Philadelphia, and Rosenberg’s vision catapulted to the next level. Since that day, honeygrow has become known for delivering authentic experiences through nourishing foods. Through relentless hard work, the restaurant has raised over $52 million in equity financing and has grown into areas like Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, and New York City metro area. In 2017, Rosenberg holds the title of Chief Executive Officer for honeygrow. He resides just outside of Philadelphia with his wife and three children. There he has opened a honeygrow headquarters to support the company’s growth and to help him continue to draw inspiration from art, music and local culture to make each new location unique.
