Joseph Sheahan is a passionate entrepreneur and seasoned operator with a focus on innovation. Currently he is the CEO and Cofounder of Savvo Digital Sommelier Solutions, an integrated marketing firm in the wine, beer and spirits space. Savvo is the third startup Joe has cofounded or been an early employee at, the other two were in the healthcare industry. Joe is also a Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Chicago, teaching entrepreneurship principles to non-business student. Prior to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Joe was in the hospitality industry, having managed several restaurants and holding titles from General Manager to Beverage Director. He made the transition to his entrepreneurial career while completing his Masters of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago, concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Joe has Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, majoring in Economics.
