Jim has been a member of the NOW management team since early in 1995. His unique combination of a Food Science education combined with decades of experience in the design and management of food manufacturing and distribution operations are uncommon in our industry. He grew up on a farm in Indiana, and knows the importance of hard work and dedication to the strong values system that the NOW brand represents.
NOW Foods is a leading manufacturer and distributor of dietary supplements, natural foods, and natural personal care products founded in 1968. Jim joined NOW Foods in 1995 as Plant Manager, and was promoted to COO in December 2007. He was promoted to the role of President in January 2012. He over 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods companies, managing global operations in manufacturing, sales and quality assurance.
NOW Health Group in the parent company of NOW Foods, a wholesale manufacturer and distributor of natural products sold primarily to Natural Retailers. NOW Health Group also consists of The Fruitful Yield, the retail division of 11 natural products stores in the Chicagoland area, and Puresource, a Distributor of Natural Products with four locations in Canada.
