Jeff is President of Surgical Directions which has helped over 500 hospitals improve perioperative performance . Jeff has over 25 years of experience working with physicians and hospital executives in a collaborative manner to optimize operating room and anesthesia services. Jeff is adept in addressing the operational, financial and political issues of most hospital systems–from the small rural community-based hospital to the large, complex quaternary academic medical centers. He has worked with hundreds of surgical and anesthesia departments and understands the complexities and importance of these services to an organization’s financial performance and reputation. Jeff is a national speaker and has published numerous articles on anesthesia support/negotiations, OR operations, perioperative benchmarks, block scheduling, physician/hospital relations, and hospital organizational issues.
