About

Erica Wiegel is President of ARO Metal Stamping, Inc. in Roselle, IL, a turn-key source for metal stampings and assemblies, from prototype through production. She acquired ARO on July 1, 2015, after more than 13 years at Wiegel Tool Works Inc. in Wood Dale, IL. In partnership with her two brothers, Erica grew the business that their grandfather founded, tripling revenues and preparing the company for future growth. It was a role in the making since Erica was 7 years old, when she began helping her father sort parts and spending summers learning every aspect of the family business. Erica officially joined the company in 2002, after earning a BS in Industrial Manufacturing from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Most recently, she was Co-owner and Treasurer, and she led Wiegel’s Prototype Department, designing and proving new product concepts — including a game-changing part that led to the largest order in the company’s history. Erica has been honored with awards from NIU (Alumus of the Year – 2014) and The Manufacturing Institute (Women in Manufacturing STEP Award – 2014). She also maintains several professional affiliations.
