Dominique Jordan Turner is the President & CEO of Chicago Scholars, a one-of-a-kind 7-year mentoring and leadership development program equipping many of Chicago’s brightest and most driven students from under-resourced communities with the tools and mindsets they need to realize their college-to-career dreams and become the city’s top leaders of tomorrow. In addition to Chicago Scholars, Jordan Turner was recently appointed to the Chicago Public Library Board of Directors and has held significant leadership roles at the Posse Foundation and the KIPP Foundation. She has appeared in countless broadcast TV and radio segments as an expert in the education and non-profit space, is a Stevie Award winner for 2016 Female Executive of the Year, and has been featured in USA Today’s Modern Woman Magazine, Chicago Tribune, Glamour Magazine, Crain’s and more. Jordan Turner also co-founded Black Girls Lead, a supportive network of African American women leading non-profits in Chicago, served in the Peace Corps and recently launched a video blog, Speak On It, focused on leadership, success and the art of winning.
