I have been in exhibition (Movie Theatres) since March 1980 in almost every aspect of the business. I believe the guest experience trumps everything and endeavor to make Classic Cinemas the destination of choice.
Technology also helps: Classic Cinemas is the first 100% 4K enhanced DLP circuit (March 2012), 100% Datasat 16 channel AP-20, 100% HI\VI\CC (hearing impaired, visually impaired, closed captioning accessable), 100% preshow through Big D, 100% high frame rate capable, 100% 6+FL 3D at every location and 100% Icount installation in all auditoriums. 100% Satellite delivery with both Deluxe Echostar and Technicolor dishes at each location.
Latest projects include installing portable scanners at every location for Print at home or Print to mobile ticketing. Installing Luxury Power Recliners, carpeted auditoriums and reserved seating. Harkness Clarus mini perf screens, advanced automation with energy management, Christie extended life SP Xenon lamps (100% done) and continued rollout of 7.1 sound for all screens (82% complete). A circuit-wide LED bulb retrofit to reduce energy consumption and time spent replacing lamps.
