I have long held a passion for real estate. After leaving college I was inspired to work for a home builder because I wanted to help people make one of the biggest decisions of their lives. I worked in sales for Del Webb, a large builder of 55+ age-restricted active adult communities for four years. But soon the entrepreneurial bug took hold and I realized that I was only helping several people each day but I wanted to help millions.
In 2007 I founded 55places.com, which has since become the preeminent resource for people who want to find, research and compare active adult communities in all 50 states. 55places.com now generates millions of unique visitors annually and facilitates thousands of transactions at active adult communities throughout the country.
Our success at 55places.com taught us that neighborhood-focused online real estate search was an important consideration for homebuyers, but we only helped a very small segment of the population with 55places.com. So in 2015 our company launched neighborhoods.com with the goal of becoming the go-to real estate website for people who want to find detailed information about millions of neighborhoods and subdivisions throughout the country.
