About

Bill Inman is the Senior Vice President and Principal of the Recreation Planning and Design Studio for Hitchcock Design Group, in their Naperville, Chicago and Indianapolis locations. Bill has been planning, directing and designing successful recreation projects for Hitchcock Design Group since 1989 and has helped pioneer award winning and landmark developments for public recreation providers. As Senior Vice President, Bill has been instrumental in positioning Hitchcock Design Group as one of Midwest’s leading recreational planning and design firms. Bill’s extensive portfolio of built work represents engagement with 100+ recreation clients. Many of these are long-term, repeat customers. His focus is on orchestrating Hitchcock Design Group’s Recreation Studio’s planning, design and construction administration services to Create Better Places to Play for park and recreation providers and their communities. Bill is a regular speaker at local and national conferences on topics ranging from comprehensive master planning, community engagement, sports, creative play and construction technology, guiding the Midwest recreation community on how to meet their unique needs and interests.
