In 2017, we noticed something: technology in real estate was accelerating rapidly, but not for regular people. While large real estate investors and established companies now have access to truly revolutionary software, data, and technology that has changed the game for them, small investor are having to work harder, not smarter to manager their portfolios. As rental property owners ourselves with busy careers and family lives, we needed a solution that was built just for people like us. Turns out, there are millions of other rental property owners with day jobs across the country who feel the exact same way. This led to us coming up with the concept NestEgg, a 24/7 helpdesk for busy landlords that can fix problems at their rental properties using smart technology powered by real local experts. We founded the company in 2017, learned from as many other rental property owners as possible, and officially launched the app in Chicago in 2018.
