About
British International School of Chicago opened its doors in September 2001. Our unique and international style has proven popular and attractive to a wide variety of American, British and international families in the Chicago metro area. Today, our enrollment comprises approximately 1,000 students, mostly American, though we have over 40 nationalities represented. Our school provides an internationally based yet British-style education for students from the Foundation Stage (Preschool) to Year 13 (Grade 12). We believe that there is no limit to what every student can achieve and that creativity as well as challenge help our youth get better every day. Each child’s learning is personalized with unique global opportunities that enhance every student’s educational experience. British International School of Chicago has two campuses (Lincoln Park and South Loop) and is part of Nord Anglia Education, which manages 42 schools in 15 countries around the world.
