About

Allison leads One Million Degrees’ fundraising initiatives, working with foundation, corporate and individual partners to support the organization's expanding reach and impact. Prior to joining the OMD team in July 2015, Allison was the Director of Development at Namaste Charter School and previously served as a Chicago Public Schools elementary school teacher through Teach for America. Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago.
