Caerus Investment Partners is a micro-venture capital firm that provides seed capital and operational expertise to early-stage technology companies located in the Midwest and New York metropolitan area. Our goal is to invest in exceptional entrepreneurs with ideas that can transform industries. We understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem where individuals create companies, commercialize ideas and leverage strategic partnerships. We invest in capital-efficient business models that have the ability to quickly scale without the need for large sums of follow-on investment dollars. Caerus was created in response to an increase in attractive early-stage investment opportunities within the technology industry. We create value by leveraging the funding gap between the growing number of high quality startups and the structural shift in venture capital firm who are increasingly investing in later-stage companies. The Midwest and New York metro area are our core markets. These regions are experiencing an explosion in high quality technology startups, but remain underfunded by venture capital firms who are reluctant to invest outside of Silicon Valley. Caerus takes a proactive approach in partnering with our portfolio companies. We provide strategic, operational and financial advice. Our strategy allows us to avoid "swing for the fences" investing.
