About

With more than 20 years of experience in the Life Science industry, Lisa Giles has held various executive roles. In 2000, she launched, Giles & Associates Consultancy (GAC), a professional services firm focus on Strategy Development, Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Transaction Support. For 15 years, GAC has provided strategic consulting services for innovators. Services include: product and portfolio optimization, global product launch excellence, market landscape, and commercial and technology assessments across many large, specialty and orphan diseases. With its team of accomplished industry executives, advisors and analysts, GAC performs both technical and commercial due diligence for market and product growth, competition, adoption, acquisition, divestiture and forecast modeling. In 2013, Giles launched, sister company, Optivara, Inc, which offers a suite of software platforms (SaaS) and content modules. Prior to GAC and Optivara, Lisa served as the VP of Strategy Development for Searle Pharmaceuticals, a division of Monsanto. There, she led global strategic planning, internal consulting, marketing research, portfolio decision analysis, portfolio optimization, and merger and transaction analysis. Previous to that role, her leadership positions with Abbott Laboratories, Business Strategy Consulting, and Ralston Purina Company. In addition to overseeing the consulting and software practices, Giles has served on many boards, most recently at GenMark Dx (GNMK), Northwestern Memorial Foundation, and the Emeritus Auxiliary Board of the Art Institute of Chicago
