Guy Turner is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Hyde Park Venture Partners, a venture capital company that invests in startups throughout the Midwest and Toronto. Turner started his career as an engineer and wanted to see more of what went on in the background of businesses, so he decided to take business classes and grew his knowledge from there. Turner explains that being up-to-date on current domain expertise and data extraction is an underrated but extremely important part of being successful within his industry. Another important part of being successful is being a team player and always making sure you’re doing right by the client and your employees, giving them someone to look up to and believe in so that they are motivated to put good work in.
