RJ is a seasoned entrepreneur and passionate about the startup and investment world. After starting many companies he saw an opportunity to assist others succeed in entrepreneurship and closing investment rounds. He founded Venture Connects in 2012 with the primary goal of providing resources to startups and growth stage businesses seeking funding and investment advisory services in preparation for a new or future round of financing. Speaking often on entrepreneurship and angel investing, RJ has been quoted in numerous publications including Forbes, The Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Business Journal and the International Business Times. Originally from Kansas City, RJ holds a Bachelors in Business from Baker University and currently resides in downtown Chicago, IL.
