Scott Graf is the President of BCD Meetings and Events, a company that sells an experience rather than a product. Graf knows that outsourcing other company’s meetings and events means rigorous work days and nontraditional scheduling – he also knows it’s important to make this as appealing as possible to employees to make sure that they’re comfortable with their roles in the company. Graf talks a bit about his own experience in the business and gives some advice to people looking to start their own venture. An important note he touches upon is prioritizing both client and employee retention – if employees are satisfied with their work culture and environment, then there’s a better chance that clients will be satisfied with the product.
