Mike Phelps is currently an Owner and VP of Sales at Kodiak Controls, Inc., a wholesale distributor of industrial instrumentation and process controls located in Lombard, IL. Mike is second generation at Kodiak and has experience in running a small business day to day, how to expand products into new markets, develop a service orientated sales force, and how to substantially increase the company’s online presence.

Mike's ambitions are to continue Kodiak’s growth through its Web presence, expand into additional industrial markets, and potentially acquire other companies that will help enhance Kodiak’s current offering.
Mike graduated from Northwestern University in 2005 as a Student/Athlete with a BA in Communication Studies, a minor in Business and a member of the Northwestern Baseball team. While at NU, he was also VP of the Northwestern Student/Athlete Government and was chosen to represent the school at numerous round table discussions with peers from other Universities across the country to share ideas on recruiting methods, mentorship, and education.
