Nathan founded Align with the goal of bringing fair, transparent, and responsible financial products to the American consumer. Prior to founding Align, Nathan spent eight years at Sandler O’Neill & Partners advising financial services companies on matters relating to capital, mergers, and acquisitions. Nathan has seen first-hand the positive impact that well-tailored financial products can have through his previous volunteer work as a co-founder of YAO, a micro-lender focused on Tanzania. Nathan received his BA in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) from Northwestern.
