watch now

Chicago History Museum’s Senior Vice President, John Russick  talks about the need for nonprofits to stay relevant within their community and beyond.  Russick gets us thinking about being open to ideas. He feels that as a leader, great ideas are all around you, not just from your own mind but from your team or other influencers in your world. He discusses the thought that taking chances and being experimental are important to staying relevant and that it opens you up to failed attempts yet, you need to be open to those failures.  Look at them as opportunities to learn and grow. Regarding developing a talented and devoted team within a non profit, Russick talks about providing his team with interesting exciting experiences in big innovative projects.
