Community Living = Low Re-Hospitalization Rates

watch now

Started by a group of Jewish immigrants who were escaping persecution in Germany, The Selfhelp Home’s mission is to honor Jewish backgrounds and traditions while providing community living so that residents can rehabilitate after hospital stays. As Administrator Hedy Ciocci explains, “When we get older, it takes longer to repair.” The Selfhelp Home provides private, luxury suites and allows spouses or caregivers to stay with the patient and learn how to help with recovery after being discharged. And they have one of the lowest rates of re-hospitalization in the state.
