Aaron is a third generation family member to work in the company (along with his sister, Erica and brother, Ryan). He joined the company back in 1992. His father Martin Wiegel was the owner at the time, and brought him to the company to learn the value of hard work and taught him the ‘ins and outs’ of the company. Aaron started out in the shipping dep’t, and a few years later – he was working in the tooling and engineering department assisting the team in designing and building complex tools.
He studied Manufacturing Engineering from Northern Illinois University, and received his bachelor’s degree in December 2000. He then started working in WTW’s CNC machining department and became Production Manager in 2002.
Throughout Aaron’s initial tenure at the company, he was able to triple the size of the business while increasing the overall efficiency of the production dept. And as a result, he was named the Vice President of the Stamping division.
Aaron became President and co-owner of the business in May 2010, when his father Martin passed the business down and became Chairman. Since that time, Aaron has been able to grow the business from 48,000 square feet to two buildings encompassing 93,000 square feet!
